Waterfront Property Improvements
We provide a range of services to transform your shoreline and maximize your waterfront enjoyment.
Lake and pond shoreline beautification is the process of enhancing the natural beauty and ecological health of the areas surrounding bodies of water. This involves various activities such as planting native vegetation, creating wildlife habitats, and implementing erosion control measures. By beautifying the shorelines, we not only improve the visual appeal of the landscape but also provide a more sustainable environment for plants, animals, and aquatic life. The native vegetation helps in stabilizing the soil, preventing erosion, and filtering pollutants from entering the water. Additionally, the creation of wildlife habitats encourages the presence of diverse species, contributing to a balanced ecosystem. Through shoreline beautification efforts, we can protect and preserve these valuable natural resources for future generations to enjoy.

Our expert team will selectively remove any unwanted vegetation from your shoreline, creating a clear and beautiful waterfront view.
Maintaining open water with herbicide is of utmost importance for various reasons. Firstly, open water bodies play a crucial role in supporting various aquatic ecosystems. By keeping the waterways clear of excessive vegetation, herbicide helps promote the growth of beneficial plants and maintain a healthy balance of nutrients. Additionally, open water is essential for recreational activities such as swimming, boating, and fishing, providing opportunities for people to connect with nature and enjoy outdoor experiences. Furthermore, herbicide helps prevent the spread of invasive plant species, which can harm native plants and disrupt the natural biodiversity of water bodies. It is crucial to ensure the continuous application of herbicide to maintain open water and preserve the ecological integrity and recreational value of these aquatic environments.
If your dock is damaged or in need of repair, we can help. Our team is skilled in dock repairs and can ensure that your dock is safe and functional.
Damaged docks in waterways pose a significant threat to safety and navigation. These deteriorated structures can lead to accidents and injuries for both boaters and pedestrians alike. The weakened foundations and crumbling surfaces increase the risk of slips, trips, and falls. Moreover, damaged docks can obstruct the flow of water and cause congestion in busy water channels, potentially leading to collisions and congested traffic. The danger is further heightened during adverse weather conditions, as storms and strong currents can further compromise the already weakened structures. It is crucial for authorities to address these hazards promptly to ensure the protection of waterway users and to maintain the smooth operation of water traffic. Heightened awareness, regular inspections, and timely repairs can help mitigate the risks associated with damaged docks and safeguard the well-being of all those who utilize waterways.
Organic and Standard Aquatic Herbicide Application
Muck Removal and Dispersion
The accumulation of lake muck significantly diminishes the value and enjoyment of the lake. The presence of excessive muck not only hampers the aesthetic appeal of the water body but also poses several challenges for both humans and aquatic life. The decomposition of organic matter in the muck leads to the release of harmful nutrients, resulting in poor water quality and the growth of harmful algal blooms. These blooms not only make the water unsafe for recreational activities like swimming and boating but also have detrimental effects on the ecosystem by depriving aquatic plants and animals of sunlight and oxygen. Moreover, the foul smell and unsightly appearance of the muck can deter visitors and residents from fully appreciating the natural beauty and serenity of the lake. Therefore, it is essential to take measures to mitigate and prevent the accumulation of lake muck to restore and enhance the value and enjoyment of the lake.
We offer beneficial enzyme and bacteria treatments as well as more immediate removal and dispersion methods. Take your shoreline back.

A concrete walkway is safer than turf for several reasons. First and foremost, concrete provides a stable and even surface for walking. Unlike turf, which can be uneven and prone to holes or depressions, concrete ensures a smooth and secure path. This minimizes the risk of tripping or twisting an ankle while walking. Additionally, concrete walkways are more resistant to weather conditions. Turf can become slippery when wet, increasing the chances of accidents, especially in areas with frequent rainfall. On the other hand, concrete remains slip-resistant, even during rainy days. Lastly, concrete walkways require less maintenance compared to turf. Turf needs regular mowing and can quickly become worn out with heavy foot traffic. Concrete, on the other hand, is durable and long-lasting, requiring minimal upkeep. Overall, a concrete walkway provides a safer and more reliable option for pedestrians.

About Us
Hamilton's Shoreline Services is owned and operated by Highlands County native Sean Hamilton (Me) and family. After graduating Sebring High School I joined the United States Air Force. I medically separated in 2015 after 13 years of service and decided to bring my family back home. After a brief stint of continuing my career in aviation at the Sebring Regional Airport I resolved to find a way to spend more time on the water. Pulling lake weeds is hard work, it's also very rewarding and honest work. It's also true that a bad day on the water is better than a good day in the office. I really enjoy what I do and it shows.
